The time I spent in Vietnam was easily the most amazing time of my life, I made friends with whom I couldn’t exchange a word because we didn’t know each other’s languages. Friends who gave me fruits when I pass by their restaurants. Everyone I met, so kind and generous. A beautiful community. I lived there for 6 months and travelled to a different city every month, if you’re planning a trip after this pandemic ends, this might come in handy!

View from the 8km Cable car ride in Phu Quoc Island, pronounced as ‘fuoc’ — yeah we said that 10 times a day haha. This 8km cable car ride connects one island to the other. What an experience!

We lost our way into what looked like an empty forest when our friends to us to their home and helped us get some petrol for our scooters at Phu Quoc Island in Southern Vietnam.

One my favourite experiences, a small town called Ninh Binh, a few hours from Hanoi, Northern Vietnam. Take the day tour boat ride, it’s filled with local tourists, we were pretty much the only foreigners there.
The last one, the UNESCO world heritage site — Ha Long Bay. Take a cruise, stay a day or 2, the food they serve is unbelievable and say yes to the caves, always say yes to the caves! They pick you up from Hanoi, Northern Vietnam.
